I had emailed Milojo the other day asking if they could let us ladies know a little more about what's going on and this is what they told me:
First off, production is not starting August 3rd and as of now, they do not have a production date set nor do they have an air date set.
Currently, they are still looking at submissions then the selected are off to TLC then to HSN for their consideration. No one has "officially" been selected yet.
If you did not get an email or phone call inquiring more about your invention, that does not mean anything either way. Phew!
It will be about 4 weeks before the selected women inventors are notified. Yep, still have some nail biting to do!
So that's that. For now.
Personally I think 4 weeks sounds better than a month!
You can look at it this way:
4 more Mondays (my favorite). Or 4 more Sunday dinners. Or 4 more tanks of gas (if you fill up once a week). Or 4 more weeks of summer before the kiddies go back to school.
What are some of your "4's"?
Thanks, Tracy. You're awesome. I so appreciate all the updates and it's a relief to know that I'm still in the running even though I haven't been contacted. I hope you're enjoying you're vacation.

The vacation was great but we are home now, back to the grind! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words!
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear we are all still in the running. Check out mominventors.com. There is an article about a mom inventor that is a finalist on the new show shark tank coming to NBC. Exciting things are happening for mom inventors everywhere.

Tracy, I am now a follower of your blog. Just wanted to let all the ladies know...I applied for my trademark and patent in Feb. I am so excited... Carry-Her is officially a registered trademark. That went faster than I expected.

Hello Tracy- My friends and I have been following your blog and were also at the Chicago casting call. I know everyone appreciates your updates and exciting news. I got in contact with you prior to traveling to Chicago from Seattle...my invention was the AttachaTray. You may have seen me pushing my recumbent bike around. : ) Well, in the midst of all of the excitement and meeting somen amazing women I saw a real need for women inventors that just isn't being met, so I'm starting an ecommerce website where women inventors can sell their inventions. I'm calling it womentorz.com and hope to have it launched within the next six months if all things go as planned. I have started a blog site as well: womentors.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI look forward to following your adventures and hope we can partner up to support all women inventors. There are some great ideas out there!
Melinda,
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I'm so glad you are enjoying my blog and right after posting this, I am headed to yours!
What a FABULOUS idea to have a website for all of us to sell our inventions!
I did see you in Chicago and your enthusiasm was contagious!
Hopefully we'll be able to personally meet soon! Please keep us updated on AttachaTray!
