I will try to keep this brief. (I know unlike me)I got an update today from our church benevolence coordinator regarding our food pantry ministry. Basically he said "You never know who your helping." He got a call Saturday night from a Lady seeking help from our food pantry and set up an appointment for her to come get some food Sunday at 10:30. He waited in the church parking lot and at about 10:45 was approached by a man who introduced himself as the husband of that Lady. He then appologized for being so late and offered this "excuse". My wife went into labor late last night and that they didn't make it to the hospital and he ended up delivering his daughter in the back of there car. Wow! He checked in with his wife and daughter at the hospital before heading over to meet with Dave. So wow you just never no who you are helping. Goes without saying I will be fulfilling some of the items needed on our pantry list.
"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40.
Have a great day ladies and I hope you found this story to be as encouraging and uplifting as I have.
