HSN, Sullivan Productions and Product X

Notice anything different? Yes, my blog is super bright...it's in-line with my Product X colors...maybe. Things are constantly changing.

I received an email from my China rep this morning and without enough coffee,  I sent off a very irritated email back to her stating that my invoice was incorrect, cost for goods incorrect, MOQ incorrect. I was SO frustrated! Can't China ever get it right?! Then...I re-read the email from my rep after I had a cup of coffee and I saw that I was the one who didn't have it right. Shoot! I read the invoice totally wrong but in my defense, it's very confusing. Sure, I could hire a sourcing agent...for $1,600...bottom line, I paid the required fee.

Remember the mystery invention (mi) that I love? Well, like I said, I sent her info to my contact at Sullivan Productions and received a notice yesterday that they (Sullivan Productions) are passing the mi to their  liaison at HSN and they think, "it would be a great fit for them!" Yea! I've never met the inventor of the mi but I felt instantly connected to the invention and who knows, maybe HSN will pick it up!

I keep telling myself, if this inventor thing was easy, everybody would be doing it.

It'll all be worth it!

  1. Hi Tracy, I am the Mystery Inventor (MI). I want everyone to know how helpful Tracy has been. I was stuck in the mud until Tracy so kindly took me underneath her wing. Now, I am up and running again. I am not ready to tell all yet however when I am ready to sell or hook up with someone who will sell for me, I'll be the first or maybe I'll let Tracy be the first to yell it from the rooftops!

I have been listening to all of you from the beginning and I feel very connected to this blog. Days when I was out of my skin with anxiety, I listened to you. Thanks to all who wrote.

Deedra, You were fantastic on HM and I am thrilled about Edison Nation for you. Keep up the good work. Good Luck to everyone else and a Huge Thank-you for Tracy for making it all happen. All the success to you Tracy, You so well deserve it!

  4. Tracy,
I too am anxious to hear what the good news is.

    Dee,
I'm here! I've kinda been MIA only reading posts for the last couple of weeks due to my daughter's wedding being this past Saturday. We had a ton of out of town guests. Many of which stayed with us either in the house in spare rooms on fold away beds or in the camper. It was a blast. The weather was touch and go for a while there. If you recall it was an outdoor wedding. I had ordered a white horse drawn carriage with a white horse and a driver with the whole get up tux with tales top hat and gloves. The week preceeding the wedding on Monday afternoon looking at the extended forecast it said 70% chance of rain and so our horse person all but backed out he said we would check again as wee got closer to Saturday and so we all prayed and prayed and prayed for no rain. And Thursday the percentage was down to 30% showers in the am so I asked the horse guy if he would come out for pictures later in the day at 3. He agreed and all went well. The lesson I learned was when petitioning God be specific. We all prayed for no rain and. . . . we got no rain. What we did not pray for was warmth and it was CHILLLLLY. But pictures can still be taken when it's chilly not so much in the rain. So that's what I've been up to. If anyone would like to see some of the photos look me up on facebook - Mary Scarlett.

Wow! So exciting. I am happy for you about your G8 with Edison Nation. I on the other hand have finally put all my ideas out there. I as far as I can tell relayed my ideas in the best possible light that I could. And I felt that some of them were really worth pursuing as products. However, EE and EN did not share my vision for my ideas and I've now pulled way back. I still will enter my existing ideas into some LPS's if I feel they are a good fit. But I kinda put a fleece out there before God with entering my ideas in Everyday Edison's Season 4 and I need to accept the fact that for what ever reason they weren't worthy of production. I am not bitter I enjoyed the ride but I am moving on gracefully. Now about your G8 ooohh boy exciting!!!! Did I understand correctly is it in the testing stage or headed to the testing stage. Please keep us posted! Praying for great success for you.

  9. Most of the time, pictures do not really show how these handbags really look. When you receive your handbag and is not satisfied with it, you can ask for your money back.
