What's new?

  1. See that Tracy the Lord's got your back. His timing is perfect. Great time for the product to come onto the scene. I'm anxious to see the latest can't live with out trend. lol Still pray'n for your success with product X.

BTW - For those of you who have been there for me in prayer I just wanted to update the fact that we after 1 1/2 years have finally closed on our house in NH. Yay! We were granted a short sale and are so excited to move on and are so grateful to be so blessed. We also are anxiously awaiting my daughter's wedding day - April 16th. Which surprisingly I think we have pretty much under control. Either I am in denial or I actually have remembered to do everything that needs doing. Either way please keep my family in your prayers.

  2. Awesome! I can't wait to hear the name!!! Just a thought, if you use that name as your LLC, it's so much harder to do other things under that name. What about Tracy Sanders Productions? Or What about Product X LLC? That way, when you want to write your book or produce something else it fits under your LLC title....cause I know you're gonna write a book sometime! :) Or maybe I'm just wasting space cause your name really works for the LLC. :)

Anywho, still can't wait to hear!

  3. Serena, thank you for reminding me that all good things happen in God's time! :) Congrats on the closing of your home and I am sure you are bursting with excitement about your daughters wedding! Keep us posted!

    Deedra,
You know, that is a very good point about the LLC...I do have a LLC from Wear Your Manners that I could use. From your perspective, what are the advantages/disadvantages of using your product name for your LLC? Another great way to learn during the journey! :)
Book...hmmm...not sure if I'm patient enough for that! Lol!

  4. Tracy so sweet of you to comment not knowing who I was. My daughter used my computer and so when I thought I was posting under my google account I was actually signed in under hers. When I read your comment I thought why is she calling me Serena then I looked and noticed I had actually posted my comment under her account. It is I Mary S. Bet my comments make a little more sense now.lol And I agree with Dee I bet there is a book writing in your future.

  5. What's the title of your LLC for Wear you Manners? YES, save the hassel and money and think about using that with a new division....Wear Your Manners could be a part of the clothing line, Product X is the toy/learning/jewelry (?) line. Some thought could probably make it work out well.

I think the biggest disadvantage for a new company for just one product is being limited for future things. These days, for example, with online publishing, creating a book or anything that you could put online for Kindle or Nook is soooooo easy, it would be easy then to add a "publishing" or book division. Any simple product add could just be a new division rather than having to recreate an entire LLC for one more product...also everything can be reference by one website. You could also have a division devoted to inventing (advice, your blog, links to your online radio, etc, etc, etc...)

My LLC is Lemon Vision Productions with the Little Buds Product Line under that. I still have the opportunity to add "parent published works" under Lemon Vision, also clothes, and finishing up the work to relaunch the non-profit....all under one LLC. I couldn't handle all the extra work to make ALL of those different LLC.

    Just my thoughts.... :)

  8. Tracy, I was wondering if you would mind sharing the reason you were given for not being able to trademark "Product X"? There is an existing trademark for this name, registered as a Direct Marketing Service. According to what I've read on your blog, you were trying to register the name for a product, therefore the two would be in different international classifications. Do you mind sharing with us the reason you were given for the rejection? Thank you.
